Joseph Myrick, LSWAIC, MSW, CDP 

Kimberly has a private practice and her office is located at Serenity Counseling Services.  She is a graduate of Antioch University Seattle's Couple and Family Therapy program.  She has training and experience working as a parent educator as well as working with couples to rebuild and maintain their relationship.  She has over four years of working with individuals and family members of individuals who have been diagnosed with a mental illness, specifically individuals with mood and psychotic disorders.  In her clinical work, she utilizes strengths based and solution focused techniques as well as encourages her clients to gain deeper insight about their own family systems and interpersonal relationships.

Lori is a graduate from the University of Washington where she received a Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences with an emphasis on Psychology.  Lori holds a Certificate in Human Services from Tacoma Community College as well, and is currently working towards certification as a Chemical Dependency Professional in the State of Washington.  She is an innovative and compassionate individual who believes in helping others gain skills, knowledge and insight in order to empower them to reach their goals and live healthy, vital lives.

Dan is a chemical dependency professional in training. Dan utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, his education and life experience to help empower others to overcome substance use disorders. He is kind, caring, and compassionate in regard to helping others that are struggling with addictions. He is the facilitator for Intensive Outpatient Treatment Groups. He implements evidenced-based (best practice) curriculums and develops new and creative ways to provide insight for people, as well as incorporate active learning into the program.

Karen is a graduate of the Business College Technical Institute and at Serenity she is the Administrator of the agency as well as the director of Fiscal, Human Resources and Marketing.  She has over 17 years of experience in sales and over 12 years of experience in business administration in the emergency medical field.

Phyllis has been with Serenity Counseling Service for fifteen Years.  She brings warmth and charm to our front office.  She manages scheduling, billing and insurance issues with patience and grace.  Counselors and clients alike, know to "ask Phyllis" whenever they have a question about scheduling, reports, or with insurance reimbursements.

Joseph is a Chemical Dependency Professional who received his Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Washington.  His clinical emphasis is on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.  He has fifteen years of experience in the field of chemical dependency counseling and he is a Licensed Social Work Associate & Independent Clinical  with the state of Washington.

Kevin is a licensed Chemical Dependency Professional in the state of Washington. He has an Associate's Degree from Highline Community College.  His passion to help people, who are struggling with addictions, comes from personal experience, and a deep desire to serve others.  He is engaging, energetic, and compassionate.  Kevin has five years of experience in the field of chemical dependency counseling.  He likes to refer to himself as a "thought provoker".
