Alcohol and Drug Treatment Program

 

We offer a different alcohol and drug treatment program entirely independent of state, county or federal money and grants. Our services are affordable and our treatment program is covered by most insurance.

 

 

Alcohol and Drug Assessments

 

Your need for an alcohol or drug assessment will be handled courteously and confidentially in a timely manner. Many attorneys refer their clients to Serenity Counseling Services as they know we will provide professional and caring service.

 

 

Deferred Prosecutions

 

If you have a problem with alcohol or drugs and have not previously been granted a deferred prosecution on a traffic-related charge or misdemeanor, you are entitled to have the charge deferred if you enter a two-year treatment program. We believe Serenity Counseling Services offers the best program in the state with highly qualified staff, a positive approach to counseling and a very reasonable cost.

 

 

Relapse Prevention

 

If you are assessed as having a current or previous problem with alcohol and are not petitioning for a Deferred Prosecution, we can make a recommendation for a much shorter relapse prevention program.

 

 

Alcohol and Drug Information School

 

Joseph Myrick teaches the eight hour, state-required A.D.I.S. class one Saturday of each month, click here for our next available class. The cost is $80. To register, call Serenity Counseling at 253-922-6522. We also offer individual counseling upon request and provide free self-help meetings accepted by the Court at our facility.

Serenity Counseling is a state-certified agency and our staff is licensed and certified. We are a proud professional liaison to the Court.

 

 

On-Site Drug Urinalysis Testing Available

 

 

Serenity Counseling Services offers Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy as strategies to overcoming substance abuse and dependence.   Our holistic approach treats each person as an individual with his or her own unique circumstances and conditions.  At Serenity, we teach as well as counsel.
